Chinese girl band Rocket Girls 101 (火箭少女101) has been in hot seat for allegedly copying K-pop acts f(x) and Red Velvet.

After the comeback teaser of the group was disclosed on Friday, a number of netizens pointed out that it is akin to the teaser photo of f(x)'s fourth studio album “4 walls,” according to China's Sina Entertainment.

f(x)'s released this album in 2015.

The MV of the Rocket Girls 101's new track “Born to Win” has also been amid dispute for allegedly copying several scenes from the MV of Red Velvet.

Rocket Girls 101 is a team composed of 11 members, who won multiple rounds of voting on Chinese version of Produce 101, the survival show of those who aspire to become idol singers.

Included in the group are Meiqi and Xuanyi, members of 13-member K-pop girl group Cosmic Girls. The group debuted on June 23, 2018, with song “Rocket Girls.”

The agency of Rocket Girls 101 has not yet come up with an official statement regarding the plagiarism issue.
