PHOTOS BTS returns home in hilarious 'airport outfits'

K-pop titan BTS made a heroic homecoming on Tuesday after a series of successful concerts in North America and Europe.

With a bright smile, the boy band's seven members walked out an arrival gate at Incheon International Airport, waving to an army of fans screaming in joy. And they didn't forget a “gift” for those who might have waited for hours ― hilarious outfits.

Member j-hope came out wearing a presumably self-designed shirt bearing an hilarious photo of the band's three members, including Jimin in the middle, surrounded by Korean letters ― (top) Bang Tan So Nyeon Dan, which is BTS spelled out in Korean, (left) Root for you, (right) I love you, and (below) Park Ji-min, a BTS member's full name.

Meanwhile, the band is set to be awarded an order of cultural merit for its international promotion of K-pop, at pop culture awards at Seoul Olympics Park in Jamsil, southern Seoul, Wednesday night.

BTS will begin a Japan tour on Nov. 13.
