K-pop singer HyunA and E'Dawn of boy group Pentagon confirmed Thursday that they have been dating for two years.

The couple's agency denied the dating rumor on Thursday, but on the following day, the couple confirmed their loving relationship.

"We thought it would be hard to look into eyes of our fans on the stage (if we keep lying,)" the pair told Yonhap News Agency. "We want to be honest with our fans, who give love and support."

They became close in 2015, when HyunA released "Roll Deep." Her now-boyfriend was on stage with her for the gig, replacing Ilhoon of K-pop boy band BTOB, who originally featured in the song.

HyunA, 26, revealed that she has known E'Dawn, 24, since he was a trainee. They were friends at first, but began dating in May 2016.

She added, "We talked about music a lot, and began doing songs together. Although E'Dawn's name is not on my album credits, he helped with the details."

"I want to show my best on stage so I could be responsible for this choice (to reveal the relationship.)"

E'Dawn said: "I had a talk with my members in advance, because I would feel sorry for them if this affected them. I am really sorry for my fans as well ― I will pay them back with my performances."

Triple H made its debut in 2017 with the album "199X." The trio recently released a second mini-album, "REtro Futurism," in July.

HyunA, in particular, rose to global stardom after starring in Psy's music video "Gangnam Style" in 2012.

The couple work together in the group Triple H with another Pentagon member, Hui.
