Revealed: Actress had 15 eggs frozen for younger Chinese husband

Korean actress Ham So-won, 43, disclosed Tuesday that she had about 15 eggs frozen six months before meeting her Chinese husband, a former idol trainee who is 18 years younger.

The two registered to marry in January and the ceremony was held in April.

Women's fertility begins to drop dramatically from the age of 37, so Ham planned so she and her husband would not waste any more precious time.

Appearing on TV Chosun's new reality show “Flavor of Wife,” she revealed her anxiety about her age.

“I have always wanted to have a baby, even if I did not get married,” the actress said.

Meanwhile, Ham's husband, Jin Hua, a former idol trainee, is now running an apparel business in Guangzhou, China. His family owns a large farm that is three times the size of Seoul's financial district, Yeouido.
