JYP founder Park Jin-young will launch a hip-hop boy band named Boy Story in September.

All six members are Chinese and their average age is 13.

Boy Story is the work of JYP China and TME, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, China's largest music-streaming company.

The members include Han-yu, Zi-hao, Ze-yu, Xin-long, Ming-rui and Shu-yang.

Boy Story is attempting to differentiate itself from other Chinese bands.

JYP said the group can be characterized by powerful hip-hop and dance music, lyrics that give positive messages, impact choreography and plenty of fashion.

The group has released three pre-debut singles ― “HOW OLD R U,” “Can't Stop,” and “JUMP UP” ― and is planning to release another single, “Handz UP,” this month before its official debut in September.

“We expect love and support from Chinese fans,” JYP said.
