Hip-hop musician Junggigo will debut in Japan this month with the Japanese version of his first studio album, his agency said Tuesday.

According to Starship Entertainment, the Japanese album is set for release on Jan. 31 and includes "Some," his 2014 hit duet single with Sistar's Soyoo, as a bonus track in addition to all the songs from his first album "Across the Universe," which was released last year.

Since his debut in 2002, Junggigo, whose real name is Go Jung-gi, has received widespread media attention for his collaboration with renowned local hip-hop artists such as Soul Dive, Eluphant, Mad Clown and Dok2.

The 37-year-old singer is scheduled to hold various events, including mini live concerts, from Feb. 1 to 5 in Japan, to promote the new album, the agency said. (Yonhap)
