K-pop star Psy has unveiled the title of his new album’s lead track: “New Face.”

He also revealed the title of its follow-up song, “I LUV IT,” on his agency’s blog on Thursday. Details of the songs, including genre, melody and overall atmosphere, are unknown.

YG Entertainment said the lead track “contains people’s hope to see a new leader of our generation.”

The album will hit shelves the day after the May 9 presidential election.

While singer/songwriter Yoo Gun-hyung wrote the lead track’s melody, Psy wrote its lyrics. Its music video features Son Na-eun from K-pop girl band Apink, according to the agency.

“I LUV IT” was co-produced by Zico from K-pop boy band Block B and music director Poptime.

“The new album will contain 10 songs,” YG said. “Amazing singers featured in the songs.”

Psy has laid low for 18 months since he wrapped up performances with his seventh album "Chiljip Psy-da."

Psy, who debuted in 1999, became an international sensation with hit song "Gangnam Style" in 2012, which has been played more than 2.8 billion times on YouTube.
