Taeyeon prepares for solo comeback

Taeyeon of K-pop girl band Girls’ Generation will make a solo comeback, her agency SM Entertainment said Wednesday.

The agency confirmed she filmed a music video in the U.S. over four days last week.

“Taeyeon’s comeback schedule will be announced once everything is confirmed,” SM Entertainment said.

Taeyeon made her solo debut with the mini-album “I” in October last year, sweeping domestic music charts. She was placed first 11 times in TV music programs with the album’s lead track, “I.”

Taeyeon is scheduled to hold her solo concert, “Butterfly Kiss,” at Seoul Olympic Hall from July 9 to 10, and at Busan KBS Hall from August 6 to 7.
