Oh Dal-soo to be cut from 'Along With the Gods 2'

“Along With the Gods 2,” the sequel to the popular fantasy movie, will be partially re-shot to replace the scenes of Oh Dal-soo, who apologized for sexual harassment, with ones featuring another actor.

The “method” actor initially denied sexually harassing a junior actress, but admitted it belatedly when the woman told on TV how Oh had groped her at a motel in the early 2000s.

Real Eyes Pictures, which is producing the “Along With the Gods” series, said Oh’s role was not big, but staff had decided to re-shoot his scenes with another actor.

The film is expected to be ready on time for its scheduled August release.

The original, “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds,” has had more than 14.4 million viewers, making it the second most-watched film of all time in South Korea following “Roaring Currents” (2014, 17.6 million).

Kim Yong-hwa is directing “Along With the Gods 2,” which is based on a popular webtoon.
