Perfect Proposal

Loosely based on the 1964 Sean Connery-helmed British crime thriller “Woman of Straw,” “Perfect Proposal” stars ImSoo-jung as Ji-yeon, a woman who is betrayed by a close friend and subsequently saddled with an astronomic debt, and YooYeon-seok as Sung-ryeol, the enigmatic secretary of a Macau-based casino group who approaches Ji-yeon with a beguiling and highly lucrative proposition. When love interferes in the way of business, however, the two characters must reevaluate the costs of their mercenary scheme. Directed by Yoon Jae-gu.

The Trip to Italy

As a continuation of the wildly successful television series, “The Trip,” Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon return as Steve and Rob, respectively, colleagues and reluctant friends who are both tasked to tour the best restaurants on the coast of Italy for the Observer on an all-expenses-paid trip. While the film may not necessarily appeal to moviegoers looking for an explosive and volatile plot or adrenaline junkies, “The Trip to Italy” centers on the sometimes witty, sometimes downright asinine banter between two friends as they meander through the idyllic Italian landscape and enjoy the most sumptuous and delectable meals that the country has to offer. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.

Tomorrowland

This latest offering by Disney, "Tomorrowland," sees George Clooney as a jaded former boy-genius inventor team up with Casey (Britt Robertson), a precocious, gifted, and highly optimistic teenager, embark on a treacherous mission to find Tomorrowland, a mysterious location that exists in another dimension, caught between time and space. Directed by Brad Bird.

Child 44

Based on the novel of the same name, "Child 44" is set during Stalin's brutal Soviet regime in the early 1950s. Tom Hardy portrays Ministry of State Security Agent Leo Demidov, who has been banished from the capital with his wife, Raisa (NoomiRapace), for investigating a series of child murders, a crime that supposedly does not exist in the Soviet Union, as dictated by state doctrine. Exiled to the provincial outskirts and dissolved of his official duties, Demidov decides to further probe into the sinister matter. Directed by Daniel Espinosa.

Pitch Perfect 2

The Barden Bellas are back and fiercer than ever! After a mortifyingly horrendous performance at Lincoln Center that strips them of both their performing duties and standing, our favorite all-female a capella group enters the world championships, a competition that no American group has ever won, to redeem themselves and regain their title as the reigning a capella queens. Directed by Elizabeth Banks.
