The Croods

Boomerang Family

In this comedy, Park Hae-il plays the role of In-mo, a 40-year-old struggling film director whose financial difficulties force him to move back in with his mother, played by a snarky Yoon Yeo-jeong. His mother’s house is already occupied by his jobless brother Han-mo (Yoon Je-moon) and sister Mi-yeon (Gong Hyo-jin), a loud-mouth with two failed marriages and a teenage daughter (Jin Ji-hee). Born to Sing

The comedy, targeting a generation of moviegoers who grew up watching television reality shows and singing contests, revolves around the intertwining tales of people seeking redemption at a singing contest. Kim In-kwon plays a financially inept, socially awkward man wanting to express love for his faithful wife through song. The female mayor of a city, played by Kim Su-mi, is determined to show the world she is no longer tone-deaf, while a grandfather, played by Oh Hyun-kyung, tries to leave a lasting memory for his granddaughter. Directed by Lee Jong-pil. Runs 112 minutes. Rated 12 and over. In Korean.
