CJ chairman's eldest son ties knot with ex-sportscaster

CJ Group Chairman Lee Jae-hyun's eldest son Lee Sun-ho has married a former sportscaster.

According to industry sources Tuesday, the scion, 28, and former SkyTV sportscaster Lee Da-hee, 27, held a private wedding ceremony on the outskirts of Seoul on Monday afternoon.

Only a small group of people, including Chairman Lee, his family and Korea Employers Federation chairman Sohn Kyung-sik, were reportedly present.

This is Lee Sun-ho's second marriage after his first wife Lee Rae-na, the daughter of singer Lee Yong-kyu, died at 22 in 2016, only seven months after their wedding.

Lee Da-hee graduated from Purdue University with degrees in psychology and sociology. She joined SkyTV in 2016 and found her feet in broadcasting through various TV programs, including KBO Pro Baseball and Sky Entertainment.

Lee Sun-ho studied financial economics at Columbia University. He started his career at CJ Cheil Jedang in 2013.

The two reportedly met early this year through a mutual friend.
