Surging Chinese tourists

Chinese tourists receive help at a tourist information booth in the shopping district of Myeong-dong in downtown Seoul, Tuesday. Some 84,000 tourists visited the country from China during their Labor Day holiday from April 30 to May 4, a 65 percent jump from a year earlier, according to the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
