Hanwha Group Chairman Kim Seung-youn lies in an ambulance as the vehicle enters the Seoul Central District Court, in southern Seoul, Tuesday. The appellate court handed Kim a suspended three-year prison term and 5.1 billion won in fines for embezzlement and breach of trust. The decision came after the Supreme Court overturned a three-year imprisonment given by the Seoul High Court to the chairman in September. Judges said that Kim received a suspended term considering Hanwha Group’s contribution to the Korean economy as well as the poor health of the chairman. / Yonhap
