Hyundai Card said on Monday that it has revamped its lineup of credit cards to commemorate the firm’s 10th anniversary.
The new plastic will be available from July 1.
“The new products represent our resolve to open a new chapter of change and innovation based on splendid success in the past decade,” CEO Ted Chung said during a press conference at the firm’s head office in Seoul.
The firm used letters and numbers to name different cards with different services. The firm will simply divide the cards into two types - Hyundai Card M and Hyundai Card X series. The M series will focus on offering bonus points, while the X series will give cash rebates.
“Consumers can choose between two types of cards in accordance with their lifestyle and buying patterns. I hope this project will lead to another successful 10 years,” Chung said.
The firm said it will strengthen so-called “culture marketing,” which uses concerts, exhibitions, performances and sports events, to broaden its user base.
It will also launch a new website that will be more user-friendly on July 1.
