LG Electronics will showcase its heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions at the 2026 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) as part of its push into the North American market.

As North America’s biggest HVAC exhibition, AHR Expo is scheduled from Monday to Wednesday (local time) in Las Vegas. At the show, LG Electronics will present its unitary system tailored to the region’s living environment as well as industrial HVAC solutions for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers and other commercial buildings.

For residential products, the company will showcase its outdoor unit lineup of unitary inverter heat pumps. The series delivers uniform and comfortable heating and cooling across living spaces through stable operating performance.

The unitary system is the most widely used residential heating and cooling system in North America, where single-family homes and high ceilings are common. It consists of standardized outdoor units and indoor air-handling equipment, delivering warm or cool air throughout the home through ducts installed in the building.

For industrial HVAC solutions, LG Electronics will showcase its liquid cooling system for AI data centers, a including coolant distribution unit.

LG Electronics’ coolant distribution unit chills servers by attaching metal cooling plates directly to heat-intensive central and graphics processing units and circulating coolant through the plates to dissipate heat.

Compared with conventional air cooling systems, the solution requires less space and offers higher energy efficiency, making it well suited for AI data centers, where server rack density is higher and heat generation is greater than in traditional data centers.

Also at the show, LG Electronics will reveal its rooftop unit, a commercial heating and cooling solution manufactured at its production site in Huntsville, Alabama. The rooftop unit maintains consistent heating performance even at temperatures as low as minus 5 degrees Celsius without a backup heater, and can be easily integrated with building automation systems.

“With its differentiated unitary systems and AI data center cooling solutions, LG Electronics will expand its HVAC solutions across residential, commercial and industrial sectors, accelerating its push into the global HVAC market, including North America,” said Lee Jae-sung, president of LG Electronics’ Eco Solution division.
