NCSOFT has successfully finished its outing to Gamescom 2025, the world’s largest gaming exhibition, capturing partner companies’ interest in the company’s new titles targeting global gamers.

NCSOFT set up a business-to-business (B2B) booth at Gamescom 2025, which ended its five-day run on Aug. 24 after drawing 357,000 visitors, including trade visitors from global game firms. It also set up a rest area for general visitors at the event’s business-to-consumer exhibition area.

At its B2B booth, the company hosted screenings and demo events to showcase seven new titles — including AION 2, Cinder City, Time Takers and Limit Zero Breakers — across various genres.

NCSOFT also offered a glimpse of its new titles during the exhibition’s Opening Night Live (ONL) on Aug. 19, which drew 72 million viewers on its livestream, making a strong impression on fans.

Of them, Cinder City, a massively multiplayer online tactical shooter unveiled as Nvidia’s latest RTX flagship title, drew attention at ONL with its in-game footage. The scenes showcased dynamic combat using a range of battlesuits and vehicles against the backdrop of a ruined Seoul, underscoring the game’s action-driven play style.

Time Takers also gained attention at ONL with a trailer combining cinematic sequences and live gameplay of the third-person, team-based shooter. The teaser highlighted the game’s unique concept of using time energy as a resource, along with the diverse play styles of its distinct characters. Time Takers is scheduled to reach global players later this year through a playtest on Steam.

Limit Zero Breakers, an animation-inspired action role-playing game, showcased its robust storyline, fast-paced team combat and other key elements of its gameplay during screenings and demos. Heading into the Tokyo Game Show in September, Limit Zero Breakers opened its new website to draw gamers’ attention during Gamescom 2025.

The company’s Gamescom 2025 exhibition drew favorable responses for its efforts to diversify its portfolio and target the global market.

IGN France reported that NCSOFT is pulling out all the stops to flood the PC, console and mobile market with a wide range of games, while industry officials noted that the company is seeking to become “a global publisher encompassing various genres.”

During Gamescom, NC America CEO Jin Jeong-hee said, “NCSOFT has been the most proactive among Korean game publishers to make forays into Western markets, including North America.

“Each of our new titles will be strategically positioned for these markets, and we expect NC’s global sales to grow explosively starting in 2026,” she said.
