LG Display will showcase its advanced organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technologies and products at 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that kicks off in Las Vegas, Tuesday, the company said Sunday.
The firm said it will showcase a variety of new products for commercial and automotive use to captivate international customers at one of the world's largest electronics trade shows.
In 2018, the Korean company unveiled the 88-inch 8K OLED display for the first time in the world.
The firm said it will enhance its 8K lineup this year by adding 65-inch 8K OLED display, noting that the new product will lead a new era with ultra high definition.

At the entrance of the firm's exhibition hall, it will install a sculpture in the shape of a rose by using four 65-inch curved UHD OLED displays.
The firm will also showcase innovative display products for cars, including a 29-inch full dashboard based on LTPS technology and 12.3-inch center information display based on plastic OLED.
“LG Display has led the market by preemptively responding to a variety of needs and trends in the market based on our distinguished technical skills,” LG Display Vice Chairman Han Sang-beom said. “We will solidify our position and expand our presence in the market by applying OLED's premium value to TVs as well as other various systems.”
