Philips Korea commits to collaborative growth

Philips Korea, a global leader in health technology, held its Philips Partner’s Day, Wednesday, as part of efforts to identify concrete measures for collaborative growth based on close communication with partner companies.
It was the second event following the inaugural one last year.
Under the slogan of “Let’s Innovate Together,” the event was hosted by Philips Korea CEO Dominique Oh, Philips Asia Pacific Procurement Leader Ramesh Krishnamoorthy and representatives of Philips Healthcare’s major partner companies including Daehan Shield Engineering.
“It is crucial for Philips Korea to improve the quality of life through meaningful innovation based on strategic relationships with partners,” the CEO said.
“We will strengthen competitiveness and create innovation with partner firms through mutual cooperation.”
Philips Korea shared its vision and future projects to encourage suppliers to grow as global partners of Philips, and renewed its determination for collaborative growth after reviewing last year’s performance.
To produce shared growth, Philips collects opinions from partner firms, discusses best practices and shares ideas. It also grants awards in five areas - cost, delivery, responsiveness, quality and innovation - based on the previous year’s performance to thank partners for their hard work and encourage them to be inspired.
Philips Korea is making multi-faceted efforts to help Korean partners find overseas opportunities for business expansion. The enterprise is aggressively promoting high-performing local partners for operations in other countries, and recently helped Daehan Shield Engineering, which offers MRI shielding systems, to participate in major project bidding in a Southeast Asian country.
