Nescafe Dolce Gusto Korea has won the best website award for its innovation in its “capsule-to-door” coffee delivery service.
The company said Monday that its website won the 2015 Web Award Korea for allowing users to access information on capsule coffee easily.
The website, launched in March, uses a streamlined payment system, helping customers to pay for the service in three easy steps. The system also comes with an automatic payment platform so customers pay only once a month for their deliveries.
“The capsule-to-door service was developed to make customers’ life easier and more convenient,” a Nescafe official said. “The service has attracted more than 15,000 subscribers since its launch in March. We are going to keep offering better services as a No. 1 capsule coffee brand.”
Capsule-do-door service subscribers can receive coffee capsules on a designated day. The service is receiving a favorable response from customers, according to the company.
The Web Award Korea is sponsored by 24 organizations including the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the Korea Internet and Security Agency.
