Two mysterious creatures have been recently spotted in the Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada, a report said Thursday.
A resident took images of the “lake creatures.” The 30-second images, which were made public recently, attracted many Internet users.
The resident said he discovered two floating black objects in the lake by accident.
The creatures were snapped swimming. The resident said that given their mammoth size and appearance, they are believed to be “monsters” living in the lake.
Some people called the creatures the Canadian version of Nessie. But as soon as the images were released, most of them kept mum.
Others raised the possibility of the black objects of being logs or others.
Legend has it that a water monster, named “Ogopogo,” has lived in the lake since the 1800s.
The legendary “Ogopogo” was born between a “goat mother” and “whale father.” To date, about 1,000 people have said they saw the water monster.
