Listen

“Monster” alligator weighing 360 kg was caught in Florida, captivating people’s attention.

Tim Stroh and his family who were enjoying fishing trip caught the 3.75-meter-long alligator last Friday evening, reported Daily Mail on Wednesday.

They found it when they were fishing on the boat. Regular gator hunter Rusty Griffenberg and his co-workers who accompanied the family lured and caught the Florida monster by special alligator rod and grenade.

“It's the largest gator I've seen since I started guiding hunts in 1989. The processor we went to in Loxahatchee said it's the biggest they've ever handled,” said Griffenberg.

Meanwhile, the longest gator ever caught in Florida is 4.37 meters long, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
