Huge circular cloud spotted

A large cloud which looks like an unidentified flying object (UFO) has been found in Ireland.

A local daily reported Monday that the cloud was spotted in the skies between Wicklow and Kildare counties on June 27.

The Journal reported in its website that even though it looks like a white UFO flying in the sky, it is actually a cloud that is called as “lens cloud.”

This forms at high altitudes, normally aligned perpendicular to the wind direction. The lens-like cloud does not move around, and if the sun is behind the cloud, then it looks like a UFO, the journal reported.

This happens when stable moist air flows over a mountain or a range of mountains.

Such a cloud has been witnessed in other countries such as Russia, Indonesia, Mexico and other countries.
