Monster rat kills 2 children in South Africa

“A monster rat,” which measures 1 meter in length, killed two children, the Sun newspaper reported online Friday.

In a picture posted on thesun.co.uk, a man holds the big rat in his hands, which has caught Internet users’ eyes.

The monster rat is bigger than normal cats, and has four teeth _ 2.5 centimeters long each.

The rat attacked a three-year-old girl and a boy, whose age was unknown, the report said.

The girl was killed, while sleeping in her house in Johannesburg, South Africa, midnight. The rat reportedly entered the house through a hole on the wall.

The mother of the victim said, “When I discovered my daughter, she suffered a deep wound in her eyes and was dead. The monster is presumed to have eaten her eyes.”
