Mastodons bones found in Alaska

The picture shows extinct mastodon’s bones which were found in Alaska. They seem to be four meters long when they are stretched. It is reported that the picture comes from the Library of the U.S. Congress.

Mastodons were large tusked mammal species of the extinct genus Mammut which inhabited Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and Central America from the Oligocene through Pleistocene, 33.9 million years ago to 10,000 years ago.

American mastodon is believed to have inhabited until tens of thousands of years.

뼈의 길이는 곧게 펴면 4미터는 될 것으로 보인다.

괴물이 존재했음을 보여주는 사진이 아니냐는 주장에서, 포샵의 결과라는 주장까지 다양하게 의견이 나왔는데 해외 네티즌 수사대의 추적 결과 '진품'인 것으로 확인되었다. 사진의 출처는 미국 국회 도서관.

알래스카에서 발견된 마스토돈의 뼈 사진이라고 한다. 아메리카 마스토돈의 경우 약 3천 4백만년 전에 처음 나타나 기원전 1만년 전에 멸종한 것으로 추정된다.
