World's longest suspension bridge

Seen above is a rendered image of Canakkale 1915 Bridge under construction in Turkey. Projected to be completed in 2023, the 3,869 meter bridge will be the longest suspension bridge in the world by the length of its main span of 2,023 meters. POSCO said Thursday it signed an MOU with Turkish engineering firm Cimtas Steel about supplying 35,000 tons of thick plate for the main tower of the bridge. / Courtesy of POSCO
