Renault Korea is strengthening its after-sales service network to provide customers with consistent maintenance quality and convenience regardless of where they live or travel in the country.

For drivers who plan to keep their vehicles for years, reliable after-sales service can be just as important as the quality of the vehicle itself. If maintenance quality or customer service varies from one service center to another, it can undermine trust in the brand.

Renault Korea operates 365 service centers nationwide to ensure customers can easily access maintenance services across the country. The company also provides technical training and standardized maintenance procedures to maintain consistent service quality.

One of its key programs is the R:assure Premium Care Solution. The program, offered to customers who purchase the Filante, provides free engine oil and air-conditioning filter replacements, as well as three premium inspections, within three years or 45,000 kilometers of purchase. Customers can also receive one free brake fluid replacement.

The company has also expanded digital services to make vehicle maintenance easier. Through the My Renault app, customers can check estimated maintenance costs, make service reservations and review inspection results through photos and videos.

The app also provides information on when individual parts should be serviced and offers personalized vehicle management information, allowing customers to monitor their vehicle's condition more easily.

Renault Korea has also introduced services designed to reduce the time customers spend at service centers. Its 24/7 Care Service allows customers to leave their vehicles at designated facilities outside regular business hours.

For customers who need urgent maintenance, the Fast Track Service Reservation allows them to use the My Renault app to find service centers offering same-day maintenance within two hours and make reservations.

The automaker is also investing in technician training to maintain service quality nationwide. Renault Group's certified technical qualification programs and professional training courses are operated in Korea, including programs for expert mechanics and top-level technicians known as COTECH.

Technicians who complete the expert mechanics and COTECH programs can receive additional E-Tech specialist training focused on electric and hybrid vehicles. The program is designed to strengthen technicians' ability to maintain Renault's increasingly electrified vehicle lineup.

A nationwide parts supply network also supports the company's service operations. Renault Korea operates 146 parts dealerships and a nationwide distribution system that supports daily ordering and same-day delivery. The company says its parts supply rate stands at about 93 percent, helping reduce waiting times caused by parts shortages.

The company said its after-sales strategy goes beyond simply increasing the number of service centers. Instead, it is focused on connecting its nationwide network, trained technicians, parts supply system and digital services into a single system.

"Consistent service quality is important for maintaining customer trust," an official from the carmaker said. "Customers should be able to receive the same standard of service regardless of which service center they visit."

By combining its service network with technical training, parts logistics and digital technologies, Renault Korea is seeking to ensure that customers can maintain their vehicles with greater confidence throughout their ownership.
