Major information technology (IT) service provider Samsung SDS on Wednesday shared with its employees how the domestic distribution of ChatGPT Enterprise can help companies here innovate office tasks with greater convenience and efficiency.

ChatGPT Enterprise is a business-oriented artificial intelligence (AI) platform developed by OpenAI. The American AI research firm selected Samsung SDS as Korea’s official reseller for the AI tool in December.

Some 500 employees of the Korean firm joined the Enterprise AI Connect 2026 seminar at the company’s headquarters in Seoul’s Songpa District. Members of the company’s leadership group, along with representatives from OpenAI Korea and Korean firms that have implemented ChatGPT Enterprise in their business operations, participated in the seminar to demonstrate the tool’s strengths.

Samsung SDS Executive Vice President and Head of the Cloud Service Division Lee Ho-joon said ChatGPT has enabled the company to execute “AI full-stack strategies” ranging from AI consulting to infrastructure, platforms, data security, model application and market distribution.

“It’s more than simply introducing AI to a company. It broadens our managerial structure, allowing the company’s sustainable expansion and advancement,” Lee said during the event.

Major Korean food conglomerate SPC’s IT services and digital marketing subsidiary, Secta9ine, joined the seminar to share how ChatGPT Enterprise is expected to advance its office tasks overall. Secta9ine was the first Korean company to decide to adopt the AI tool after Samsung SDS became the official reseller of ChatGPT Enterprise.

A Secta9ine official said the AI platform “perfectly protects the company’s data security while raising efficiency across our entire business procedures, including development, data analysis and marketing tasks.” She added that the company’s planned introduction of ChatGPT will allow its overall office management to become “AI-native.”

Tourism agency Hanatour demonstrated how ChatGPT Enterprise has enabled it to offer 24-hour AI consultation services that recommend customized tour packages to customers. The service is based on H-AI, a multi-AI agent system. A Hanatour official said ChatGPT Enterprise, combined with Samsung SDS’ AI full-stack services, will help the company achieve its AI transformation goals.

Samsung SDS said companies across various sectors including manufacturing, distribution, finance and state-run agencies have begun showing interest in implementing ChatGPT Enterprise.

Samsung SDS Executive Vice President and Head of the Strategic Marketing Team Lee Jung-hun said during the event, “The seminar showed in detail how AI can be used in corporate environments. Our expertise and OpenAI’s technologies will jointly encourage more companies here to commit to AI transformation.”
