LAS VEGAS — Samsung Display unveiled concept products for next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) devices featuring OLED technology at a media event Monday (local time) ahead of CES 2026.
The exhibition highlighted the synergy between AI and OLED, offering a glimpse into near-future lifestyles.
Under the theme “A New Era of Experience, Powered by AI & Display,” the company is hosting a private exhibition for global customers during the world’s largest technology trade show, which runs Tuesday through Friday, local time.
The AI OLED Pendant envisions a future AI device that could one day replace smartphones. Built around a 1.4-inch round OLED display, the necklace-style concept emphasizes portability and voice control, allowing users to intuitively operate the device and check information at a glance, expanding the role of AI agents.

“Compared with LCD, OLED is thinner and lighter, making it an optimal display solution for securing battery space in compact AI devices,” a Samsung Display official said.
Also drawing attention was the AI OLED Remote, a concept remote equipped with a 1.3-inch round OLED display that integrates control of multiple AI devices in the home. The idea imagines a living space where a single, always-accessible remote replaces the need for multiple device-specific controllers.
Samsung Display also introduced concepts such as the AI OLED Mirror, a 13.4-inch round OLED device with a front camera for skin and temperature analysis and AI-driven beauty and health guidance. Other concepts included the AI Earphone Case with a 1.3-inch round OLED and AI Headset with a 1.5-inch round OLED, which allow users to control music and settings without accessing a separate smart device.
Samsung Display also unveiled its next-generation foldable panels at the exhibition. Attendees could compare text displayed on a 2024 foldable panel with that on the next-generation version, which showed significantly less image quality degradation caused by light reflection or shadowing along the crease. According to Samsung Display, the crease depth of the next-generation foldable panel is about 20 percent shallower than that of its 2025 product.

Among other concept products, Samsung Display is showcasing the AI OLED Bot, a compact robot with a 13.4-inch OLED face that moves freely and interacts with users via AI. It demonstrates AI-assisted interaction in a university setting, guiding students, sharing professor profiles and displaying assignments or class updates in environments where voice commands are limited.
Samsung Display also presented display-equipped AI speaker concepts, including the AI OLED Mood Lamp, which adjusts lighting based on music, as well as retro-inspired devices like the AI OLED Cassette and AI OLED Turntable. These demonstrate how OLED integrates visual and audio experiences, offering intuitive interactions without needing separate devices.
Automotive OLED applications were emphasized through a Digital Cockpit concept, featuring flexible center displays, passenger screens, rear-seat entertainment displays and OLED tail lamps that maintain visibility even in bright sunlight.
Durability demonstrations included foldable panels tested with basketballs and steel balls, as well as displays operating in a refrigerator at 20 degrees Celsius below zero, demonstrating performance under extreme conditions.
