Coway is setting a new standard in the market for premium air purifiers in the winter season by converging heating and air purification in one product.

As winter cold sets in, Korea’s home appliance market is undergoing a notable shift. With more time spent indoors and fewer opportunities for ventilation, demand for air purifiers rises during the colder months. This winter, however, a premium category is emerging: appliances that combine heating and air purification in a single device, according to Coway.

Coway said the product was developed after it closely examined customer feedback that air from conventional purifiers can feel uncomfortably cold in mid-winter. By adding a warm air function that quickly heats indoor spaces, the company aims to enhance both practicality and efficiency.

The Heative warm air purifier from Coway differentiates itself from others in terms of fast heating performance and low noise.

The product can raise indoor temperatures by about 5 degrees Celsius in just four minutes, delivering stronger heating performance than competing models.

Its high-efficiency ceramic heating element enables rapid heat generation, quickly warming living spaces.

Users can set their preferred temperature from 16 degrees to 35 degrees, choose from three preset levels, such as 25, 30 and 35 degrees or fine-tune settings in one-degree increments via a mobile app.

The product also earned the Quick Mark, an international certification awarded by the United Kingdom-based Noice Abatement Society, in recognition for its low-noise operation.

Space care efficiency has also been enhanced through its 3D circulation rotation system. Clean air is discharged both forward and backward through a central outlet, while the 180-degree rotation helps distribute purified air evenly throughout the home. Customers can select filters tailored to their living environment and lifestyle, such as fine dust-focused ones or dual deodorization filters.

The air purifier boasts slim design with thickness of only 13 centimeters, so it fits easily into small rooms. It is available in four colors to suit customers' differing tastes and interior spaces.

“Converged products that combine air purification with heating, humidification and dehumidification for year-round use are emerging as a new segment of the premium purifier,” a Coway official said. “The product has received strong market responses since its launch, as the single device helps customers enhance their quality of life.”
