Electronic parts maker LG Innotek and electronics giant LG Electronics have set their sights on the world’s largest electronics exhibition show in Las Vegas next month to showcase their latest technologies for driving and home improvement.
LG Innotek has shortlisted its artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for autonomous and electric vehicles (EV) for CES 2026, scheduled for Jan. 6 to 9. LG Electronics, redefining AI as “affectionate intelligence,” plans to show how its products can connect consumers with convenience-boosting appliances at home and public spaces.
LG Innotek on Wednesday said it will exhibit its 35 new future mobility solutions. Instead of displaying each product separately during the exhibition, the company will prepare two life-size mock-ups, each representing an autonomous vehicle and an EV, and will simulate all the solutions in them. Attendees can ride in the mock-ups and experience each solution, according to the company.
LG Innotek has developed solutions to meet the growing global demand for AI-defined vehicles (ADVs). Each new technology integrates both hardware and software components, offering a comprehensive turnkey solution for automakers worldwide.
The solutions for autonomous vehicles comprise 20 different technologies. Highlights are a lineup of in-cabin sensor solutions such as the Under-Display Camera Module and a digital key equipped with a child presence detection feature.
Solutions assisting autonomous driving from outside the vehicle, such as the Active Cleaning Camera Module, Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Radar and CES 2026 award-winning Ultra-Slim Pixel Lighting Module, will also be featured.
LG Innotek will showcase 15 different technologies for EVs. Its Wireless Battery Management System and Battery Link with a new battery junction box capability are among the company’s key solutions for motor and power-transmission parts.
LG Innotek CEO Moon Hyuk-soo said CES 2026 will “cement the company’s leadership in the global future mobility market.”
LG Electronics, meanwhile, released a digital invitation Wednesday for its “LG World Premiere,” set to take place in Las Vegas a day before CES 2026 opens. Under the theme “Innovation in Tune with You,” the event will host about 1,000 invitees and highlight the company’s “affectionate intelligence” technologies, designed to seamlessly integrate with a wide range of devices and appliances to enhance everyday convenience.
