Renault Korea has joined the growing trend of integrating entertainment and office features into vehicles, unveiling a multifunctional wide screen in its flagship SUV, the Grand Koleos.
The 2026 mid-size SUV offers an expanded interior, along with the introduction of a new panorama sunroof on its Esprit Alpine and Iconic trim editions. Featuring a top-slider design and integrated wind deflector, the system maximizes cabin space while minimizing airflow from outside, providing a more spacious and quiet interior.
The new Grand Koleos comes equipped with the openR Panorama Screen, described by Renault as a “secret weapon rare among domestic vehicles.” One standout feature is R:Arcade Game, which offers up to 20 games, some of which can be played with a smartphone as a control pad.
Another highlight is R:Beat, the brand’s karaoke function first introduced in the QM6. The upgraded version in the Grand Koleos allows riders to sing along to the latest hits, skip interludes and save favorite songs to a playlist. It can also connect to a wireless microphone, provided to all customers.
According to Renault Korea, these entertainment features can nearly replace a tablet for many passengers. In addition to games and karaoke, the openR Panorama Screen supports movie and music streaming as well as YouTube, covering virtually all forms of in-car digital entertainment.
“An SUV is no longer just a means of transportation; it has become a new space for entertainment,” a Renault Korea official said. “The openR Panorama Screen will continue to evolve.”
