Coway’s Berex offers tailored sleep solutions for newlyweds, movers

Coway’s sleep care brand, Berex, has launched new products aimed at elevating sleeping experiences, as Korea enters the peak season for weddings and relocation, the company said Tuesday.

The lineup includes mattresses and bed frames that blend sophisticated design with high functionality.

The Berex Modi mattress, an upgraded version of the brand’s best-selling Prime model, is designed to deliver a high-quality sleep experience to customers.

The mattress is particularly well-suited for newlyweds, as it features signature independent springs that reduce motion transfer between sleepers. This helps customers enjoy stable, undisturbed sleep at night.

The product evenly distributes body pressure across different zones and offers both firm support and soft comfort.

Coway also introduced the Berex Signature Fireshield mattress, expanding its lineup of premium fire-retardant products. Combining luxury aesthetics and comfort, the mattress is made with flame-resistant materials that meet domestic and international safety standards, enhancing protection against any fire risks.

The fireshield material is applied to all sides of the mattress. A layer of wool fireshield padding — a blend of flame-retardant padding and natural wool — adds a second layer of fire protection, particularly suitable for fall and winter months when indoor fire risks increase.

The Berex Modern Round frame will also enhance the bedroom’s aesthetic appeal. Featuring a curved headboard and winged side design, the bed frame brings a refined level of design, according to Coway.

The winged sections are deep enough to support restful sleep and allow users to sit back and relax comfortably.

Coway also offers routine mattress care services for its rental customers. An expert visits customers’ houses to provide cleaning and maintenance for mattresses every four months. Customers can also replace the comfort topper with a new one once during the rental term, so they can maintain a fresh and hygienic sleep environment.
