Hyundai E&C’s new apartment project in Uijeongbu is drawing buyers with its signature premium apartment brand and convenience in location and everyday lifestyle features.
According to the major construction firm, on Thursday, Hillstate Hoeryong Station Parkview in the city’s Howon area in Gyeonggi Province is attracting buyers who have signed a purchase contract before moving in April next year. It is the first Hillstate apartment town the company is introducing in Howon.
The upcoming town with 1,816 units is attracting buyers for multiple reasons, the company said. One of them is Hillstate’s brand power. According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, Hillstate has topped apartment brand rankings for 77 consecutive months since April 2019, highlighting its popularity.
Another advantage is a lower financial hurdle. Improved from the country's conventional down payment rate of 10 percent, Hillstate Hoeryong requires 5 percent, or a 5 million won ($3,580) flat fee for all 674 units that are up for sale in the lot.
Purchase contracts for Hillstate Hoeryong are open to anyone aged 19 or older, including those who already own real estate. Buyers can select their preferred apartment number and unit — a rare perk among apartment contracts in the country.
Hillstate Hoeryong, close to Hoeryong Station on Line No. 1, offers convenient access to Seoul hotspots, such as City Hall and Gangnam, within an hour. The GTX high-speed subway network, currently expanding across the Seoul metropolitan area, will also stop at Uijeongbu Station — one station away from Hoeryong Station — by 2028, providing additional public transit convenience. A new highway connecting Seoul and Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, is expected to be completed in 2030, further improving access to the town.
Hillstate Hoeryong is also close to elementary, middle and high schools, shopping malls, Uijeongbu Arts Center and libraries. Nearby mountains and preserved natural sites offer opportunities for trekking and leisurely strolls.
On-site community amenities will include golf practice rooms, a sauna, a guest house and a library. The development will also feature Hyundai E&C’s proprietary floor noise-reduction technology, the H Silent Home System I, and a branded dry car cleaning zone and pet playground.
Hyundai E&C’s digital lifestyle platform, My Hills, allows residents to remotely control home devices like lighting, heating and air-conditioning using a smartphone. The platform also allows checking maintenance bills, community service booking and parking garage car location. (Advertorial)
