BAT Rothmans announced, Wednesday, the global launch of its new cigarette line, Global Editions by Dunhill, with Korea selected as the first market for its debut. The launch marks the first-ever sub-brand under the prestigious Dunhill label and introduces three unique editions inspired by iconic travel destinations: New York, Paris and London.
Crafted with the lifestyle and tastes of Korean consumers in mind, Global Editions by Dunhill is designed around the concept of escapism — the desire to break away momentarily from everyday life. The brand aims to capture the joy of travel and adventure, offering consumers a brief sensory escape from their daily routines.
A key focus of the launch is the product’s distinctive packaging, which reflects Korea’s sophisticated visual culture. BAT Rothmans developed the design through a "Hot Housing" process, involving collaboration between Korean creatives — including art directors, graphic designers and 3D artists — and the brand’s in-house team. The result is a vibrant, refined design that stands out from conventional cigarette packaging.
The Global Editions lineup features two King Size variants — New York Edition and Paris Edition — and one Fine Cut Super Slim variant, the London Edition. Both New York and Paris contain 3 milligrams of tar and 0.20 milligrams of nicotine, while London offers a lighter option with 1.5 milligrams of tar and 0.10 milligrams of nicotine. Each edition presents a unique flavor profile tailored to Korean preferences.
The New York Edition includes a double capsule that combines a refreshing base flavor with a fragrant, zesty burst. The Paris Edition also features a double capsule system, blending a smooth base with tangy and sweet notes. In contrast, the London Edition has a single capsule delivering a crisp, lively finish. All three editions are equipped with a "Fresh Zone" at the top of the pack, designed to emit a pleasant aroma when rubbed.
“Global Editions by Dunhill captures special moments of travel and offers consumers a distinctive sensory experience. We are committed to building a strong presence in the combustible cigarette market and establishing a global brand narrative starting from Korea," a BAT Rothmans official said.
The three Global Editions by Dunhill are now available nationwide at convenience stores and tobacco retailers in Korea, priced at 4,500 won ($3.22) per pack.
