Hyundai Motor Group will sponsor a trilateral business dialogue for the second consecutive year to help business and political leaders from Korea, the United States and Japan tighten their strategic relations, the carmaker said Tuesday.

The Trilateral Executive Dialogue (TED), which was launched last year in San Francisco, will be held in Seoul on Wednesday. The TED is aimed at strengthening a trilateral relation for their economic prosperity and international security.

Hyundai Motor Group will support the upcoming event as a main sponsor. A group of 100 ranking officials from the three countries will take part. They include Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul, Trade Minister Cheong In-kyo, Federation of Korean Industries Chairman Ryu Jin and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Chung Euisun.

A group of U.S. senators, including Bill Hagerty and Chris Coons, and Qualcomm President Alex Rogers will participate in the event to discuss measures to elevate trilateral ties.

From Japan, top executives of Toyota, Denso and Nippon Electric Company will attend the TED.

“We are pleased to sponsor the important event organized to seek future-oriented relationships among the three nations,” an official from Hyundai Motor Group said. “We, as a global mobility firm, will keep fulfilling our role to contribute to boosting the three nations’ economic and cultural relations.”
