Innocean has held its global networking program by inviting its overseas executives to Korea, so they can generate greater synergy for future businesses, the company said Monday.

The company completed the five-day-long Discovery 2024 program on Saturday with a group of 26 executives from 18 countries. They experienced the corporate and organizational culture of Innocean and Hyundai Motor Group. Innocean is a subsidiary of the nation’s leading automaker.

Participants included Jason Sperling, chief creative officer at Innocean USA, and Santosh Kumar, chief operating officer at Innnocean India. They stayed for five days in Korea from May 21 to engage in diverse exchange programs in its Seoul headquarters.

The program marks its 10th anniversary this year. It resumed for the first time in five years after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The key purpose of the event was to elevate networking activities among the firm’s global executives and enhance a sense of belonging to the company, Innocean said.

Invited executives visited major facilities of its mother firm, such as Hyundai Motor Studio and Hyundai Motor’s Asan plant to experience the group’s heritage and circular economy ecosystem, Innocean said.

They also discussed measures on how to create more synergy by pushing for joint global projects.

“Discovery was designed to establish Innocean’s own differentiated global identity,” Innocean CEO Lee Yong-woo said. “The program is positive in terms of boosting the morale of employees who are steadily gaining momentum in overseas markets. We will often provide opportunities for people from diverse countries and races to understand each other’s cultures and emotions, and especially to experience Hyundai Motor Group’s heritage and improve their sense of belonging to Innocean.”

Innocean celebrates the 19th anniversary of its establishment in 2024. The company is expanding its global network with 26 overseas operations and over 3,500 employees in North and South America, Europe, China, Australia, India, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.
