BAT Rothmans' flagship heated tobacco brand, glo, launched its most innovative device, the HYPER pro, on Monday, initiating pre-sales on Coupang.

The glo HYPER Pro is equipped with a high-definition AMOLED display, and offers its latest HeatBoost technology for better taste and consumer satisfaction.

The newly introduced EasyView screen is one of the key design elements that reflects consumer feedback from its previous models. It offers six screen modes that show everything a glo user needs to know on device settings and sessions. Users can easily check residual usage time, heating time, battery level, heating mode, charging status and more with just one click.

The glo Hyper pro also features a new TasteSelect dial, which is ergonomically designed to enable adult consumers to easily choose between two satisfying taste modes: standard and boost.

In addition, with the application of the new HeatBoost technology, the glo Hyper pro delivers rich flavor from the first puff and enables longer usage. Under the standard mode, it heats up in about 20 seconds, allowing for a maximum usage time of four minutes and 30 seconds, 30 seconds longer than the previous Hyper X2 model. The boost mode enables the device to heat up to a maximum temperature of 300 degrees in 15 seconds, providing use for up to three minutes with a more intense taste.

"BAT Rothmans continues to release new products to provide premium quality and differentiated product experiences,” a BAT Rothmans spokesperson said. “We continue to listen to consumers and enhance our products so that they find glo a robust alternative to continuing to smoke — now incorporating new features like the EasyView screen, TasteSelect dial and HeatBoost technology. Through this pre-sale, we hope consumers can experience the satisfaction offered by the HYPER pro ahead of its official launch."
