LX Hausys is participating in the International Surface Event (TISE), the largest flooring exhibition in North America, in an effort to increase its presence in this region's flooring market, the building and interior materials company said Thursday.

Held in Las Vegas from Jan. 24 to 26, TISE is the largest flooring industry exhibition in North America, attracting around 60,000 visitors each year. This year, over 700 flooring and building materials companies from around the world joined the show, making it the largest event since before the COVID-19 pandemic.

LX Hausys set up its exhibition booth with the concept of a stage where technology meets nature. The company said its booth is comprised of an experience zone where visitors can see its flooring at a glance and a technology zone that introduces new technologies such as printing and special surface coating technologies.

LX Hausys showcased a variety of new flooring products with differentiated designs and functionalities. Among them, the representative exhibition product is PRESTG XL, a luxury vinyl tile (LVT) made of stone polymer composite (SPC), which has recently become popular in North America and Europe, the company said.

“PRESTG XL has a wide design that doubles the area compared to the existing products, realizing the actual wood grain feeling while maintaining durability. It is strong against moisture and scratches,” the company said.

LX Hausys is continuing to grow in the North American region, which has the world's largest flooring market. It participated in this exhibition to further increase its market share.

“We participated in the exhibition to enhance our presence in the North American market. We are attacking the North American market with LVT flooring suitable for local residential spaces where carpets and wooden floors are preferred,” a spokesman of LX Hausys said.

“We will work on catching the demand for home remodeling and discovering new customers such as large construction companies through the exhibition. We plan to concentrate on expanding sales of flooring in the North American market based on aggressive sales activities.”
