Global public relations (PR) consulting firm Synergy Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), led by CEO Chung Hyun-soon, said it won three global PR awards this year.

H+K won the “North Asia PR Consultancies of the Year” title at the Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards. The PR agency received the same award in 2019. The SABRE Awards is an international awards event organized by Holmes Report, which reports global PR company rankings and publishes annual reports of their performances.

It was also selected as “Japan/Korea PR Consultancy of the Year” for the third consecutive year at the PR Awards Asia, organized by Campaign, and it won the “Most Innovative Public Relations Agency of the Year” at the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards. H+K won the same award hosted by the Stevie Award Committee in 2014.

The biggest strength of H+K that many global PR awards gave credit for is its quick adaptation of digital PR strategy in line with the rapidly changing market environment.

Its role in promoting LG Electronics' G8X ThinQ launching event for global influencers was highly praised for its creativity, so much so that it also won the award in the Multicultural Marketing category at the SABRE Awards.

A total 200 influencers from 21 countries participated in this project, which successfully went viral to promote LG Electronics' new mobile phone model to 500 million people around the world.

H+K has been improving brand satisfaction for its clients and target customers by providing desired communications in various and creative ways with its PR team specializing in digital platforms.

In this time of uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic striking the whole world, the PR firm has been offering leading-edge solutions to cope with the crisis.

Last year, its headquarters, based in New York in the United States, came up with an online crisis simulation program designed by an expert in the area and shared it with its 80 branches around the world.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of H+K as it continues to prosper even in the time of COVID-19.

“It seems we have been steadily innovating in all areas of our field and strategy development for years in line with the changing communication environment. We will present new and effective communication solutions in the wake of the new normal era,” CEO Chung said.
