Daewoo E&C wins top communication award

Daewoo Engineering & Construction (E&C) has been increasingly injecting its resources to better communicate with its customers.

Being recognized for its outstanding communication efforts with customers, the construction company said Thursday it won the Grand Prize at the Korea Communication Award.

“Daewoo E&C won the Grand Prize, which is the highest award, in the construction and apartment brand sector at the awards ceremony. With our Prugio apartment brand, Daewoo has won the top prize nine times,” the company said.

Organized by the Korea Internet Communication Association, the award recognizes companies that have developed outstanding communication skills with their customers. The survey of the association gave the highest competitiveness score to Daewoo E&C's Prugio.

To get closer to more customers, the company renewed its brand philosophy in early 2019. Under the new philosophy called “The Natural Nobility,” Daewoo E&C has been upgrading its products and services.

For online communication, Daewoo E&C has been operating social media channels on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. On these three platforms, the company has been providing information on its newly built apartments and basic information about the real estate market.

“To better communicate with the current and future residents of the Prugio apartment brand, we will actively utilize social media,” a Daewoo E&C official said.
