CJmall to sell CJ Cup PGA tourney tickets exclusively

CJ ENM O Shopping Division has begun exclusive ticket sales for the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges PGA golf tournament on its website,CJmall, the home shopping unit said Monday.

The CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, which is the tournament's third edition, is the only PGA tourney in Korea. This year's edition is scheduled for Oct. 17 to 20 at the Club Nine Bridge on Jeju Island, and will feature 78 golfing gurus including the world No. 1 and defending champ Brocks Koepka of the U.S. The purse of the 2019 tournament has increased to $9.75 million, up $250,000 from a year earlier.

The home shopping unit will offer a 30 percent discount on early bird tickets ― starting from 60,000 won single-day tickets to 250,000 won premium tickets ― until July 28. Premium tickets will include breakfast, lunch and access to the VIP lounge.

For customers who purchased tickets during the promotion period, various gifts will be offered, such as Kakao Friends driver head covers, Bridgestone golf balls and 25 percent discount vouchers for golf wear at CJmall.

“We have prepared a slew of promotions and gifts to celebrate the tournament which is an exciting opportunity to watch PGA Tour stars in Korea,” a CJmall official said. “We expect more customers to join the gallery and root for their favorite stars.”
