Diageo Korea has unveiled a collection of limited-edition packaging designs to mark the 111th anniversary of Johnnie Walker's iconic “Striding Man” logo.
The Striding Man was inspired by John Walker and designed by cartoonist Tom Brown in 1908. It has been the symbol of the company and its vision “Keep Walking” since.
The retro limited edition packaging will include iconic designs from 1929 (Johnnie Walker Red Label), 1970 (Johnnie Walker Black Label) and a new design for 2019 (Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve).
“We are excited to bring to life this symbol through a series of retro-inspired packaging in Korea,” a Diageo official said.
The bottles with limited edition packaging come with a highball glass, a vintage design magnet and a Striding Man sticker. They are available at warehouse-style supermarkets, discount chain stores and convenience stores.
