New stores from the nation’s major duty free retailers are scheduled to open in Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, Jan. 18.

Lotte clinched the bidding for the terminal’s duty free section for liquor, tobacco and food while Shilla took the bid for cosmetics last year. Another retail giant Shinsegae won the bidding for the terminal’s fashion accessories stores.

Lotte Duty Free said Sunday that it will open the world’s largest liquor store in the terminal. One hundred and thirty 130 liquor and tobacco brands will be sold there in a 1,407 square-meter store.

Premium brands such as Ballentine, Royal Salute, Hennessy, Johnny Walker, KT&G Lil, Philip Morris Iqos will be sold there. Customers will also be able to sample the products.

Luxury liquor products, including Hennessy Edition Particuliere and Royal Salute 30-Year-Old Flask Edition, are also expected to be sold there. Both products are sold for 30 million won ($27,700).

Lotte Duty Free also said it will sell heat-not-burn tobacco products such as Lil and Iqos for the first time in the nation’s airport terminal while establishing a smoking area inside the store.

Shilla Duty Free is set to establish a 2,105 square-meter store for about 100 cosmetic brands. Luxury brands, including Dior, Chanel and SK-II, are expected to be sold.

It added the store will not only sell products but also provide venues for sampling.

Shinsegae Duty Free will also introduce about 170 fashion brands in its store. Premium brands Chanel, Gucci, Prada and Fendi will be placed in the center of the store.

Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 will also feature a character zone in the duty free area. Popular character brands such as Kakao Friends and Line Friends will be also sold there.
