Neowiz Games launches new MMORPG 'Bless'
Neowiz Games released its new game “Bless” here, Wednesday.
The online game company said it has poured about 70 billion won in developing the massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) over the last seven years.
Expectations are high over the success of the game as such blockbuster online games are becoming scarcer in the Korean gaming industry.
“We have launched Bless after a long period of preparation,” Neowiz Games CEO Lee Ki-won said. “We will continue to work to make the game recognized by gamers here.”
In the open beta test starting Wednesday, users will choose a character from seven races and six occupations to play to a maximum level of 45. A total of 16 servers will be available, the company said.
The game will also be launched in the global markets.
“We are already cooperating with local publishers in China and Taiwan to release the game there,” a Neowiz Games spokesman said. “We are also working to roll out Bless in other global markets such as the United States, Europe and Russia.”
In Japan, the game will be launched through Neowiz Games’ subsidiary GameOn, he said.
