UI Energy CEO Choi Kyu-sun has discussed business cooperation with the chief of the Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), a Saudi Arabia-based investment firm.

Seoul-based UI said Friday that Choi met the KHC Chairman, His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. They discussed Lubo Industries, a power transmission device maker that UI recently took over, and bilateral business cooperation.

It was Choi’s fourth meeting with the KHC chief this year, the company said, adding they discussed a variety of business opportunities. Former Australian Prime Minister Bob Hawke attended the meeting, it said.

“Based on Korea’s advanced information technology, we will seek cooperation in various segments, including combat robots, automatic security systems and aircraft simulators,” Choi said.
