Coupang, Korea’s leading e-commerce site, said Thursday that it signed an exclusive agreement with The Honest Company, a U.S. baby product and household goods maker founded by Hollywood actress Jessica Alba, to market the latter’s goods in Korea.

At a press conference, Alba, the co-founder and creative director of the Honest Company, said that the U.S. company will offer more than 150 products here, including baby formula, diapers and personal care products, through Coupang. Coupang began selling the products on Tuesday.

“We are glad that we are able to provide a wide range of our products to Korean consumers by forming a strong partnership with Coupang,” Jessica Alba said. “Coupang is the right partner to help us achieve our goals in Korea.”

Alba, who has starred in many Hollywood blockbuster movies over the years, co-founded The Honest Company in January 2012 and has been serving as its creative director.

The company started with 14 employees making only 17 baby products, but has now grown into a larger organization employing 350 people and producing 150 products. It offers not only baby products, but also a wide range of household items, such as shampoo, soap and vitamin supplements.

“We do not use toxic chemicals in our products and try to offer safe and healthy products for the whole family. Our products are not only for babies, but also for everyone in the family,” Alba said.

Coupang CEO Kim Bom said consumers can get their hands on Honest products through the e-commerce site and have them delivered safely and quickly.

“We will make a fast and safe delivery to our customers through our own delivery system,” Kim said. “We will continue to form a partnership with other Korean and non-Korean brands to offer premium products at lower prices.”
