Lim to head KEPCO KDN

Lim Soo-kyung, 42, has been appointed as the new CEO to lead KEPCO’s information and communication affiliate KEPCO KDN, the company announced Wednesday.

She is the first female to become CEO of a KEPCO affiliate.

“Through the convergence of power, energy and ICT (information and communication technology), I will make a new paradigm and future at KDN,” Lim said in a statement.

A graduate of Korea University, she holds a master’s and doctorate degree in industrial engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.

The ICT expert was working as a senior executive at KT’s global and enterprise division prior to her new appointment.

Previously, Lim served for the National Information Society Agency, LG CNS and National Tax Agency as a senior official.

Her inauguration ceremony will take place today at its office in Seocho, southern Seoul.
