Samsung Card said Wednesday that it has launched Samsung Card 6.

The card is aimed exclusively for men in their 30s and 40s and its benefits comes from where they hangout the most.

Consumers will get 0.5 percent of their spending in points in every affiliated store across the country. They get 1 percent at restaurants, pubs, public transportation and telecommunication services.

They will get a 1,000 won discount if they spend more than 10,000 won in cab fares at driving ranges and convenience stores. Excluding oil, they can get the discount three times if they spend over 300,000 won and six for over 600,000 won.

There is a separate discount for oil: consumers will get a 2,000 won discount if they pay more than 50,000 won at filing stations and 3,000 for over 70,000 won. The number of discounts available follows the same quota as other services.

Users of Samsung Card 6 get a 20,000 won reduction in the cost to change engine oil, oil filters and air cleaners at SK Network’s Speed Mate car repairs shops. They also get one free check-up per year and a wheel realignment (unlimited).

If they pay over 50,000 won for car insurance, they are allowed a two to three month installment plan with no interest. They also get a 3,000 won discount for movie tickets that they purchase on and offline at CGVs (unlimited)

The card also has a premium version called Samsung Card 6 Plus, which has additional benefits: the discount for CGV movie tickets becomes 5,000 won and they get a 30 percent discount at Outback Steakhouse. They also get free valet parking at affiliated hotels and a 50 percent discount for theme parks.

Membership fees for Samsung Card 6 is 20,000 won and 25,000 won per year for domestic and global versions, respectively. The premium variant’s fee is 55,000 and 60,000 won.

The latest card completed Samsung Card’s number series that total 7. The first in the line-up, Samsung Card 2 and 3 was launched last year in November. The company said the goal was to simplify its previously diverse product names for clarification. The company has issued a total of 1.35 million number-series cards so far.
