Ssangyong Motor Co., South Korea's smallest automaker, said Monday its March sales dropped 10.1 percent from a year earlier due to weaker demand in both domestic and overseas markets.
Ssangyong Motor sold 9,342 vehicles overall last month, compared with 10,390 units sold a year ago, the carmaker said in a statement. It sales, however, gained 5.4 percent from February, when it sold 8,866 units.
Domestic sales plunged 19.1 percent on-year to 3,785 vehicles in March, with exports also contracting 2.7 percent to 5,557 units, it said. (Yonhap)
